Nifty falls 2.25 points or 0.1% and ends at 8421, Sensex ended down 27.86 points at 27809,top gainers are  Bajaj Auto ,Coal India, Axis Bank, L&T, Sun Pharma and HUL . and top losers included, are Tata Steel, Vedanta, Cipla, Tata Power, ITC, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, NTPC, HDFC, Dr Reddy's, SBI, Maruti Suzuki and Infosys. The market ended on a tepid note. About 1180 shares advanced, 1513 shares declined and 182 shares were unchanged.

TODAY RESULTS:

Bajaj Auto up by 7.5% and Net profit of  Bajaj Auto slipped 18.5 percent in quarter ended March 2015 to Rs 621 crore from Rs 762 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal. During the quarter, its total income fell 3.9 percent at Rs 4,739 crore compared to Rs 4,932 crore year-on-year (Y-o-Y). Weak volumes dragged the company’s growth. expenses hurt EBITDA was down 10.1 percent at Rs 838 crore versus Rs 931 crore (Y-o-Y). Operating margin was at 17.7 percent against 18.9 percent on yearly basis.
