MARKET SUMMARY FOR 09 DEC 2015
Sensex slipped 274
points, or 1.08 per cent, to close at 25,036 Nifty50 ended at 7,612, down 89
points, or 1.12 per cent. Vedanta and Tata Steel were the top losers in the
benchmark.
Bank nifty futures
failed to cross the 17020-17030 resistance zone and tumbled to close the day in
the red, below the psychological 17000 support region. It must now sustain
decisively above 16980-17040 region to signal that the downswing is arrested
and above the 17100 level to signal strength. The region between 17130 and
17300 is riddled with resistances and needs strong buying support to decisively
cross this zone. Below, 16800, the slide is likely to continue as bears will
tighten their grip and bulls will liquidate more positions and a test of the
16750-16710 region could well be on the cards. A decisive breach of 16625 is
likely to bring in fresh panic supplies.
