MARKET SUMMARY OF 22 DEC 2015
The Nifty opened at 7,829
hitting a high of 7,859 and low of 7,770, before ending with a loss of 48
points at 7,786.The Sensex opened at 25,731, touched an intra-day high
of 25,787.21 and low of 25,485. It finally ended with a loss of 141 points at
25,591. It was yet another roller-coaster ride for the Indian stock
markets with the main indices closing near session lows on the back of another
wave of late selling. Christmas week had brought some joy with indices
racing ahead on Monday; but a Santa Claus rally still remains a fantasy in the
holiday shortened week as Nifty failed to cross past the high (7863) of last
Friday today.
