Sensex ended with a gain of 100 points at 26,626. The Sensex opened at 26,654 touched an intra-day high of 26,731 and low of 26,539.The Nifty closed with a gain of 29 points at 8,170. The Nifty opened at 8,177 hitting a high of 8,195 and low of 8,135. The Indian equity market closed with modest gains on Friday amid a choppy session. Indices managed to clock in

marginal gains tracking positive global cues. The realty, auto, telecom and FMCG stocks were the top gainers followed by metal, finance and IT stocks. On the other hand, healthcare, capital goods and oil & gas stocks were under pressure.
