Nifty slipped in opening session but

Cements were the top gainers today, up 2 to 3 per cent on the index. On the contrary,
L&T, ONGC, Heromotoco & Infosys
were the top laggards, Suzlon Energy were locked at
10 % lower circuit at Rs 3.24 .at the end the Sensex was down 51 points @ 40817 while the
Nifty was down 27 points at 12025.
