wednesday market ended on a bullish note. sensex gained 86 points to close at 38615. At the
same time, the nifty gained 23 points to close at 11408. Bank nifty gained 115 points to close at 22286. Market set a rapid hat-trick today. For the first
time since february 27, the nifty has closed above 11,400.in other sector media
stocks ended as the top performer with gains of 5.4%, courtesy a 14% surge in
zee entertanment and realty stocks up
1.3% were the other sectoral gainers while it & pharma stocks were the
sectoral laggards in today's session. Today sbi, followed by l&t, m&m,
icici bank, sun pharma, axis bank, itc and bajaj auto were among the top
gainers while hcl tech, nestle india, tata steel, kotak bank and infosys were
among the laggards.
