Today market witnessed
their biggest single-day fall in over a month after tensions between India and
China escalated at the Ladakh border. Sensex ended 2.1% lower at 38628 while
the Nifty ended 2.2% lower at 11387.In other side heavy selling seen in stock sector also.
Media stocks was the top sectoral laggard, ending with losses of over 6% &
Pharma stocks ended lower by 5% each while the banknifty and Auto stocks saw
declines of over 3.5%. The banknifty fell over 800 points this session.Today
ONGC & TCS were the only gainers, while Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank
and Bajaj Finserv were the top Sensex losers falling up to 6%.TOP GAINERS-ONGC & TCS
