NIFTY OUTLOOK OF  TODAY N TOMORROW

Benchmark stock market indices fell sharply on Thursday after snapping an eight-day losing run a day ago. Domestic stocks were dragged by falling IT and financial stocks, in addition to sustained selling by foreign institutional investors. At closing, the S&P BSE Sensex fell 501.73 points to 58,909.35, while the NSE Nifty 50 was down 0.74 per cent to settle at 17,321.90. Volatility rose as investors remain nervous, fearing high interest rates for a prolonged period.
