MARKET RECOVERED FROM BUDGET BLUES

Today market recovered from the pressure of the Union budget. After the Budget, The business week were started brilliantly. Today the Nifty climbed 46 points to close at 11,708. At the same time, the Sensex gained 137 points to close at 39872. Purchases were seen in all sector except IT. Paint, consumption related stocks given buying opportunity . Auto, metal, power, realty stocks also rose. Small-medium stocks also seen buying today. The midcap index were gained 188 points to close at 17708. At the same time, Bank Nifty closed 202 points up at 30023 on the basis of buying in banking shares. If the HUL was seen as the king of the market by climbing 4%, then NESTLE INDIA were looking for a speed horse. The start of 2020 was disappointing for the auto sector. Auto sector sales declined in the early January of the year due to a decrease in demand. Maruti Suzuki, the largest carmaker, grew by 1 % in the month of January 2020. Meanwhile M&M reported a 6 % decline. Tomorrow Bharti Airtel's results third quarter result will announce. On quarterly basis, the company's revenue is expected to grow by 4 %.

MARKET GIVES THUMBS DOWN TO BUDGET

On saturday in budget session  market Sensex ended down 2 % at 39735, & Nifty Slips Below 11,800 points at 11643. ITC, Tata Motors, HDFC and L&T are the top losers, down over 6 % each. Sensex Gains Slightly  up But Still in Red while auto, financial service, FMCG, pharma, PSU banking and realty were trading in the green. On the other hand, IT, media, metal and bank traded in the red. HDFC Life, ICICI Pru, SBI Life among top losers. Shares of HDFC Life Insurance Company down 4 %, SBI Life Insurance  down 8 %& ICICI Prudential Life Insurance 9 %. Earlier, market benchmark Sensex slumped over 100 points in opening session today ahead of the release of the Union Budget to be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Tech Mahindra, PowerGrid, Tata Steel, NTPC, Kotak Bank and HCL Tech were among the top laggards, shedding up to 3%. On the other hand, HUL, UltraTech Cement, Maruti & Asian Paints were trading in huge profit IDBI The stock opened at Rs 35.50 against the previous day's close at Rs 33.90 and touched the intraday high and low of Rs 39.80 and Rs 33.65, respectively. The most active stocks included State Bank of India, Reliance Industries, IRCTC, Larsen & Toubro and Maruti Suzuki. Budget 2020: Custom duty on small appliances hiked to 20% Vs 10%, custom duty on fan upped to 20% Vs 10% & custom duty on specified goods used in refrigerators & AC hiked to 12.5% Vs 10%. The most active stocks included State Bank of India, Reliance Industries, L&T & Maruti .

Friday’s volatile session ended on negative note. Investors focused on the Union Budget 2020 scheduled Saturday 2nd Feb 2020 , with high expectations of further stimulus to the economy. After swing between up & down nifty slipped  into red. The Sensex down 0.47 % to close at 40723 & the Nifty fell 0.61 % to end at 11962. Stocks SBI, Vedanta, HUL, Power Grid, Saregama, Tech Mahindra, Shoppers Stop, among other announced  their Quarterly results today.  SBI shares touched an intraday high of Rs 321.6 rising 3.51% and tech Mahindra share was the top gainer but fluctuated between gains and losses & traded 0.9% higherIndiabulls Real Estate Stock hit their upper circuit of 5%.
