MARKET SUMMERY FOR 8 JAN 2020

Today Nifty slipped in opening session  but after that make A long positive candle. this pattern showing  a volatile movement in the market. The Sensex pared losses in the fag-end of the session, settled at 40,800 level & down 51 points . Bharti  Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services, and Ultra Tech Cements were the top gainers today, up 2 to 3 per cent on the index. On the contrary, L&T, ONGC, Heromotoco &  Infosys were the top laggards, Suzlon Energy were locked at 10 % lower circuit at Rs 3.24 .at the end the Sensex was down 51 points @ 40817 while the Nifty was down 27 points at 12025.

After erasing most gains of the early session market closed in green. The Sensex closed up at 40869 with 193 points, while Nifty closed the day up at 12052 with 60 points . Nifty was up more than 100 points recovering almost 50 % of 233-point fall witnessed yesterday that pushed the index below 12,000. The Sensex also witnessed a bounce-back of more than 400 points.In terms of contribution HDFC twins, Reliance, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Asian Paints was the top gainers.  Today ZEEL up at  3.66 % intraday after global brokerage house remained bullish on the stock ,HDFC Bank gained 2.5 % following strong loan and deposits growth in the quarter ended December 2019.

Shares of Tata Motors were 2% negative   today after Jaguar Land Rover reported de growth in its US sales for December month. While Jet Airways was locked in 5 % upper circuit today.  The stock was quoting at Rs 35.90, up  4% and there were pending buy orders for 24,345 shares.

CLOSING BELL-The Sensex closed at 40,676.63 with 788 points down while the Nifty down at 11,993 settled 234 points.
