There was a strong weekly expiry in nifty in  today's market. Nifty climbed 83 points to closeat 11215, while the Sensex climbed 269 points to close at 38140. The market was strongly contributed by RIL, HDFC Bank, ITC. There was also a good purchase in midcap stocks. Except IT, all other sectors of the Nifty have closed in the green in the index. Bank Nifty closed 201 points at 23084. Bank Nifty closed at the edge for the sixth consecutive day.Gains on the Nifty were led by Eicher Motors which ended the day with gains of 4.9%. Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the major contributors to the Nifty upside, ending with gains of 3.6% each. Today Pharma stocks was outperformed ending higher by 2%. Auto stocks& Realty were the other top  gainers, ending with gains of 1.2%&1.4% respectively.

NIFTY PRESSING THE PAUSE BUTTON

Today market showed sluggish business after 5 consecutive sessions. However, nifty managed to survive beyond 11100 but the impact of pressure in european markets also showed on the indian market. At the end of trading, the nifty  dropped 30 point to close at 113260. At the same time, the sensex has lost 58 points to  close at 37871 & banknifty  also slipped 400 points from the day's height.gains on the nifty were led by axis bank which reacted positively to its first quarter earnings, ending with gains of 6.7%. Hero motocorp, bpcl and hindustan unilever were the top laggards on the index, each of them ending over 3% lower. Most sectoral indices were lower in today's session. The media index and the nifty bank ended with gains of 0.5% while the auto, IT. and realty index ended with losses of over 1%. The psu bank index underperformed, ending with losses of 1.6%.today axisbank, bajfinance & hindunilvr was the active stocks.

NIFTY RACE CONTINUED ON 21 JULY 2020

Today Bulls continued to race in the market for the 5th consecutive session. Nifty closed at 11200 with a gain of 146 points today.Banknifty has also gained more than 6 % in the four-session boom. RIL, HDFC, ICICI Bank fueled the market today. At the end of trading, the Sensex closed today at 37930. Today Bajaj Finance was the top laggard ending 4% lower after its first quarter earnings. Banking stocks outperformed for the second straight day ended with 2% gains. Realty and auto stocks also ended with strong gains. Realty stocks was ended 2% higher while the Auto stocks was ended with gains of 1 % but Pharma underperformed today ending 1.3% lower.

NIFTY CROSS 11000 THANKS TO BANKS

On Monday market has closed today on a spectacular edge.Today Nifty  ended above the mark of 11,000 for the first time since March 5, this year.Gains were led by I.T. stocks yet again. The IT stocks ended higher for the third time in the last four sessions, with gains of 2.6% only Pharma stocks was the down in today's session ending 1.6% lower led mainly by losses in Sun Pharma and Glenmark. Bank Nifty today witnessed the biggest intraday rally of 11 years. Grasim, Hidalco, indusind Bank, Dr Reddy's, M&M and Axis Bank have been the top gainers of today's Nifty. Reliance, JSW Steel, HUL, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma also saw good gains.

On Thursday market ended higher for the second day. In today's Market weekly options expiry session ended on a strong note, led by a last hour recovery in banking and pharma stocks. The market showed excellent turnaround from the day's low, especially in the last one and a half hours. Nifty today slipped below 10600 in intraday but then managed to recover and closed near 10740. Gains were mostly led by Infosys - which ended 9.5% higher for its biggest single-day gain in four months. BPCL, Cipla also contributed to the recovery, ending 7% and 5% higher respectively. Among the sectoral indices, Banknifty recovered nearly 600 points from the day's low to end with gains of 1.2%, courtesy a reversal in private lenders like Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank. Although off the day's high, the I.T. index ended as the top performer for the second day in a row, ending with gains of 2.8%.
