On friday markets had a rangebound session but managed to register gains at the end of the  week. Nifty tried to hold the 11200 today and the business finally managed to close above this level. Nifty closed at 11215 with a gain of 16 points at the same time sensex closed at a level of 15 points @ 38040 points at the end of trading. It giants and hdfc twins put pressure on the market but saw good buying in midcap stocks.  M&m results were weaker than expected in q1.asian paints emerged as the top gainer ending with gains of 4.6% while titan was the top laggard ending 2.5% lower.

Today markets held on to gains to end the weekly options expiry session on a strong note & managed to close at the height of a week. Nifty and banknifty have set a rapid hat-trick. Market also appreciated the credit policy of reserve bank.the sensex gained 362 points to close at 38025. The nifty climbed 98 points to close at 11200 & banknifty gained 133 points to close at 21643. Hdfc bank, infosys, ril energized the market. Nifty i.t. Was the top sectoral gainer in today's session, ending with gains of 2%.metal stocks outperformed yet again. The metal index gained for the fifth straight day today. Gains were led by tata steel, which also was the top performer on the nifty 50 index, ending with gains of close to 4%. The index has now gained in eight out of the last nine trading sessions.

Today market closed in the red mark amid fluctuations. However nifty  managed to survive beyond 11100. The sensex  fallen 25 points to close at 37663. At the same time, the nifty  gained 6 points to close at 11102. Bank nifty closed at 21510 gaining 19 points. Markets gave up early session gains to end little changed as tuesday's outperformers - reliance industries and hdfc bank dragged benchmarks lower side .In today's session metals and auto stocks were the outperformers  Four out of the top five nifty gainers belonged to these two sectors. Metal stocks ended with gains of 4.2%, led by hindalco and tata steel which rose 8% and 6% respectively & auto index saw gains of over 2% led by eicher motors up 4% & tata motors up 4%.

After continuous pressure  the market witnessed a strong boom today. Nifty has managed to close beyond 11100. The sensex  flown about 750 points &  closed at 37687, at the same time, the nifty has closed at 11,102.85 with a gain of 211  points.today, the auto stocks witnessed strong momentum, with a gain of 3%, maruti and hero moto  included in top gainers, while apollo tires, exide industiries also saw excellent growth. The banknify & pharma stocks ended with gains of 2% each while the auto and realty stocks gained over 1.5% each while i.t. Was the only sectoral laggard, ending 0.7% lower.astrong rebound led by market heavyweights reliance industries and hdfc bank. Two stocks - reliance industries and hdfc bank contributed nearly 160 points out of the 200 point gain on the nifty. Reliance industries saw its biggest single-day gain in nearly four months, ending 7.5% higher.
