On the last day of july market closed down. In
july nifty gained 7.6 %, sensex gained 7.8 % & banknifty gained 1.26 %
,auto stocks climbed 8% , it stocks has been up 22%, pharma stocks has
been rising by 12% & metal stocks gained 8 % .today sun pharma
& sbi announced first quarter resultsin in that sbi produced
better results than anticipated. The pharma stocks outperformed for the third
straight day, ending 3.6% higher, gains were led by sun pharma and cipla both
ending with gains of over 5% both were also the top performers while media
stocks was the only major sectoral laggard, ending 0.9% lower.
