After two consecutive days of weakness, the market saw a strong bounce today. Rif, TCS, Kotak Mahindra and HDFC, Nifty touched 11300 level today. Banknifty also saw good gains from the lower levels. For the first time since March 5, the Nifty today crossed the 11300 level. Today Nifty closed at the level of 11300 with a gain of 168 points at the end of trading. At the same time, the Sensex closed at the level of 38502 with a gain of 567 points. In terms of sectors, except pharma, all the other indices traded in the red today.Auto stock ended with gains of 3.2%. Other gainers included the I.T. (up 2.3%) which gained for the third straight day,Metal which gained 2.2% and the Realty stocks which gained 1.6%. Today Companies set to announce their earnings results was in indigo, United Spirits, HDFC, Torrent Pharma, TTK Prestige.
