Today market gained for second straight day, after a last hour surge took nifty to their highest point of the day. Sensex has closed higher by over 600 points today. At the same time, the Nifty has been successful in crossing the 9000 mark. Dr. Reddy's Lab achieved a 2 per cent gain with better-than-expected results, with the company's profit up 76 per cent in the fourth quarter. Today IndusInd BK, Bharti Infratel and Hero Moto were putting pressure. The market was backed by oil and gas shares. RELIANCE, HDFC BANK, ITC and L&T were supporting the market. Looked good shopping at  RELIANCE too.

The market closed on the upside amid fluctuations. Bank Nifty  closed in the red mark for the fourth consecutive day. However, after 3 days of decline, the Nifty  closed today on the edge but  today  Bank Nifty closed at the red mark for the fourth consecutive day while  Sensex gained 167 points to close at 30196 & Nifty  gained 56 points to close at 8879 &  Bank Nifty fallen 87 points to close at 17486.The metal, pharma, power stocks was seen strong buying. There was support from BHARTI AIRTEL, HDFC TWINS and KOTAK BK. Auto shares was jump of 3-4%. The  rise in crude oil giving a nice look to the stocks of oil marketing companies. The  shares of IOC, BPCL and HPCL ran2-3 %.

On Monday Market  erased early gains and fell sharply , as investors fretted over the extension of the nationwide lockdown till May 31.Financials draged market to over 1-month low. ensex and Nifty slip over 3 percent each & Banknifty declines 7% today. 45 Nifty stocks end in the red with IndusInd Bank, Zee Entertainment and Axis Bank being top losers.  HDFC twins, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank and RIL, IT stocks (Infosys and TCS)  also slipped,  Except IT and Pharma, all indices close lower.Cipla gains over 5% on positive management commentary after Q4 earnings.
