Today markets began the new trading week with gains led by a recovery in banking stocks that bounced off their lows in the final 30 minutes of trade.nifty ended above the mark of 11250, up 0.72% While banknifty recovered 350 points from its day's low of 21404 to end 0.3% higher at 21754. The recovery was led by the banking stocks & among other sector- auto, media and metal stocks outperformed in today's session. The three sectoral indices ended with gains of 2.5% each & i.t. Stocks ended with gains of over 1% each. While pharma and psu banking stocks were the laggards in today's session. The pharma stocks fell 0.3% while the psu bank stocks fell 0.5%. Today ntpc, tata steel, l&t, titan and kotak bank were among the major gainers. While, ril, sbi, hdfc, hdfc bank, axis bank and icici bank were among the top laggards.

Market ended a week of consolidation with losses, as benchmark indices continued to face pressure at higher levels. Today weak global signals put pressure on the market today. Sensex-nifty closed today with a steep decline, sensex  fallen 419 points to close at 37891. At the same time, the nifty  fallen 117 points to close at 11184 & bank nifty fallen 531 points to close at 21665. Banknifty  index to fell over 2% in today's trading session. Auto and psu banks were the top laggards in today's session with both the indices ending lower by 2.5% each. The top three laggards were in auto stocks, namely eicher motors (down 7.1%), tata motors (down 4.8%) and m&m (down 3.3%). The auto index snapped an eight-day gaining streak.

On Thursday sensex and nifty erased early gains and ended on a flat note with negative bias , amid mixed global equities. Today Market turned cautious ahead of the release of cpi data. Nifty fallen 8 points to close at 11300 at the end of trading. At the same time, the sensex fell 59 points to close at 38310 level.banknifty fallen 68 points to close at 22196.  Today auto, media and metal stocks outperformed. The media stocks ended 1.5% higher while the auto and metal stocks ended with gains of 1.4% and 1.2% respectively while pharma and psu banks were the laggards in today's session. The pharma stocks  ended lower for the third straight day, down 1% while the psu bank index fell a similar quantum.companies set to announce their earnings was hero motocorp, tata steel, eicher motors, grasim industries, godrej industries, prestige estates among others.

On Wednesday  market opened sluggishly today after a 6-day rally but the bulls took command at the lower levels, with the nifty managing to stay around 11300 today with a resounding recovery. The sensex fell 37 points to close at 38,370 today, while the nifty fell 14 points to close at 11308 & nifty bank climbed 37 points to close at 22,264., apart from this  psu banks, media and auto  & it stocks were the top performers in today's session.while pharma was the top sectoral laggard in today's session, ending 1.6% lower, down for the second straight day. However, realty, pharma, consumer durables stocks were under pressure.meanwhile aurobindo pharma, bharat forge, ashok leyland, tata power, cummins, advanced enzyme, aster dm healthcare, natco pharma april-june quarterly earnings announced.

There was a strong boom in the market today. Today  sensex closed at a level of 38407 , up 224  points. At the same time, the nifty closed at the level of 11322 with a gain of 52 points & banknifty climbed 327 points to close at 22227.the nifty closed for the sixth consecutive day today, while the sensex closed for the fourth consecutive day.
