Before the May expiry, there was a great boom in the market today. The market closed at a 2-week high today. Bank Nifty today saw the highest volume in 2 months. Bank Nifty closed at 1-week high. The Nifty climbed 286 points at 9315 and the Sensex gained 996 points to close at 31605. Bank Nifty has gained 1270 points to close at 18711.
Banknifty stocks was
outperformer today. Kotak, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank supported the market. Axisbnk
was the top gainer today up by 14% while sunpharma was the top losers with 2%
down.Dabur Q4. On a year-on-year basis, the company's profit decreased 24.1% in
the quarter, same SUN PHARMA Q4. The company's profit fell 37.1% in the fourth
quarter on an annual basis. Agrochemical, cement stocks had strong buying
interest.. The volatility is expected to continue ahead of tomorrow's F&O
expiry.
