In today's business, the market is limited. The Nifty fell
10 points to close at 9029 & the Sensex fell 63 points to close at 30609.
however, the Bank Nifty has gained 161 points to close at 17440. There was a
good buy in metal and auto stocks. Cement shares witnessed a sharp rise. But
IT, pharma stocks were sold. HDFC BANK, RELIANCE and ICICI energized the
market. Metal, FMCG shares are also seeing good momentum. Shares like HUL,
BRITANNIA were trading at the day's high. ITC ran over 3% after the acquisition
of SUNRISE FOODS. Seamount shares have shown good results. BIRLA CORP and
KAKATIA ran 5 to 6 percent. ULTRATECH and AMBUJA climbed 8 to 9 percent in a
week. ACC and RAMCO also saw good buying.
