The markets ended the monthly expiry of May on a positive note. Market continued to end on strong note for the second consecutive day with Nifty near to 9500 level. Among sectoral indices, the Media and Auto indices outperformed, ending with gains of over 3 % while the Bank nifty, Metal and  Realty gained over 2 % each. Private lender HDFC Bank was the top contributor and rose 5%.Federal Bank has reported 21 % YoY fall in its March quarter.L&T top gainer, up 6%;•Hero MotoCorp 5%,& IndusInd Bank 5%was up . Companies set to announce their earnings are Ceat, Agro Tech Foods, Daawat, Federal Bank, Lupin, Muthoot Finance, Radico, TVS Motors, and Wendt among others. Sun Pharma share price touched an intraday high rising 2.23%.
